"Menaklukan Buasnya Sungai-sungai di Kalimantan", that's the subject of the article shown on the picture on the right. The man on that boat is my dad! He is a brave, no fear man who likes to conquered wild river in Borneo when he was young. The picture is taken from one of local news paper many years ago.

Well, it's not the only article that write about my dad's adventure in the young adventurer section, there are still many others. In the year of 70's, there is two stamps that use my dad's pictures. The one is his piture when he was challenging the wild river in Borneo, and the other is the picture when he rock climbing on Jaya Wijaya Mountain. He climbs Jaya Wijaya Mountain in his college age (twenties) and put Indonesia's flag on the top of the mountain for the first time (around year 70's). In his 50's of age, he still hikes the mountain and carry the heavy and huge bags on his back for our supplies.

He teaches me how to contact with the wild. To merge with nature and feels like we are the part of the nature. He is an expert of nature's and wild's world. I'm so proud to be the daughter of one of the famous Indonesian rafting founder named, Sinarmas Djati. :)

Sunday, 2nd Feb 2010, at 09:30 Am, Pabil picked me up to go to Kumpul2 Karimun at Univ Pancasila, Menteng. Every time we attend Karimun's occasion, PabiL wants me to wear the "Munz" T-Shirt that he made. The "Munz" T-Shirt is very cute! It has the picture of PabiL's Red Munz. Looks like a cartoon and a scatch. You name it! Coz I'm quite confuse how to call that picture. LOL.

munce Okay, here I will talk a bit about the "Munz" T-Shirt. Maybe anyone of you might be interested to have one!smile "Munz" T-Shirt as seen on the picture on the left is made from a very comfortable cotton. The colors is only white, the available sizes are "S" (the one that I wear), "M", "L", and "XL". On the next production there will available for "XXL". It's a MUST HAVE stuff if you are the lovers of Karimun of Wagon R. yeah, it's a must! It can't be found anywhere else but from the producers itself, which is PabiL a.k.a Anto. C'mon! Order NOW!!!

Back to the K3... We arrived at about 10:00 AM. There were an introduction about the New Karimun Estillo and the comparison between Karimun Estillo and New Karimun Estillo. There were many amusing games, really works to make your stomach get tired for laughing! And free lunch of course! lol. We got a box consists of Rice, Urap, Rendang or something made from meat, hmm, what else? I don't really remember coz I didn't ate the lunch box but I ate the other side dishes, such as Macaroni Schotel, Bolu kukus (my favorite), Es Cendol, and some gorengan. Hehe. Yupz, I not a big fan of a big meal. :P

From Menteng, we went to Mall Kelapa Gading 3 to buy brown legging that I want to wear to the wedding at night, and PabiL also needed to go to Nokia to pick up his litle sister phone. Unfortunately, there was some problems in Nokia that turned PabiL's mood to a very bad bad baaaaddd mood. So we did things that can boost up his mood again, such as WENT TO XXI!!! Hohoho,, yupz we watched "From Paris with Love" which I think it really a good movie!! Unexpected story and very interesting and makes us curious!

We went home about 08:30 PM and took a beautiful rest for us coz actually I've got a very painful headache that day but I tried not to feel it. I think it's because the weather. The sun is too HOT but the weather is too humid! It's a perfect weather to make me sick and got fever! Yeah right, on the next day I've got fever, influenza, and very painful headache, plus diarrhea!!!sigh

Raksasuwita Gathering Dec 2009

Raksasuwita is the family name I got from the grand-grand parents of my mother side. Well, to make it simple just say that Raksasuwita is my mom's Grand Father from her mother side. Still confuse? If you feel it so then you'd better draw a family tree then you will get it clearly.

The Raksasuwita is divided into 3 (Three) big family groups, such as Bandung, Jakarta (which I’m included), and Bogor. The division itself depends on my grand mother sisters. I can be stated as a Jakarta family because my grand mother and her children spent most of our life time in Jakarta. The Bandung Family is the generation from my grand mother older sister who spend most of their life time in Bandung, and the last but not least is the Bogor Family which come from my grand mother’s younger sister who spend most of their life time in Bogor.

The Raksasuwita always held big family reunion (called Paguyuban -red) every 6 (six) months. We usually rent a hall because of the big amount of our family member. The purpose of this Paguyuban is to maintain the relationships among Raksasuwita family from the ancestor to the very young generation.

The last Paguyuban was held on December 05th, 2009 in Bandung. The tradition of this occasion is every meeting will be prepared by different commission. The last Paguyuban was prepared by Bandung Family. The committees itself come from my generation since my generation is the most productive ages for these years.

We’re not only met and greet and have great food to eat, but we also held a bazaar of our own. Even other people who are not from The Raksasuwita Family can rent a stall to join the bazaar. We also have door prizes to make the Paguyuban more exciting! It’s so amazing and fun! I can’t wait for the next Paguyuban!

Poor Old Begger

Written by Rhea Sinarmas Wednesday, 17 February 2010 11:16

One day, late at night I went home in the very cold and silent night. The rain was falling since morning till night. People were sleeping in their cozy and warm home
It was so silent, no messy went around. Until one moment, suddenly I saw people were running. Seems like there were catching for something. Then I remember, couple meters behind, I saw an old lady, she is a beggar. Who was running in the silent night looks so scared and panic. And I was getting more curious, so I turn my car to follow where the people go.
Sadly, my thought was right. The people ran to that old beggar lady. They catch her and she was trying to struggling among the crowed.

Then I open the window and tried to pay more attention to that lady, and I heard she was saying, "I'm cold. I'm so cold".
The point of that chasing moment is just because that freezing beggar stole someone's jacket from a silent home. She stole that jacket just because she feels so cold. Yeah, it was so cold out side and the rain still falling down. Poor her... That the wild world. On the other side, people were sleeping so tight in a very warm and comfortable bed room, but some where out side many of that freezing beggar have to struggle against the cold air and the rain with no thick enough coat to cover their thin skin... It's so sad and ironic! crying

This morning I didn't use free way to go to the office coz I go earlier. Well, I was planning to wait the 3 in 1 by park for about half our in Balai Kartini, but guess what happened then???
Let see, I was arrived in Kuningan, in front of Gran Melia Hotel for exactly at 09:20 AM. Then I turned to Mega Kuningan traffic light at about 09:23. I still have 37 minutes until 10:00 AM. Then I decided to park in Balai Kartini coz in my calculation I will need 15 minutes for max to get to Balai Kartini. But the fact is, I need those whole 37 minutes to get there!!! Yeah,, baby!!!
It took 37 minutes queing from behind Singapore Embassy to Balai Kartini. Then I don't have to park my car in Balai Kartini first coz it's already 10:00 AM when I reached Gatot Subroto so I just can get through the Gatot Subroto road. The queue was quite unbelievable! Really, I can't imagine what makes it so long even the queue is not that long???
My opinion, maybe most of the people there want to elongate the time so they can reach Gatot Subroto at 10:00 AM. Well, I reached there at 10:00 AM sharp, so I guess the cars in front of me was not as lucky as I am so they have to do another turn to Kuningan. :D
Thanks God I can reach there on time! wink
