Viaggio in Islanda

August 17, 1945... Is the moment when Indonesia declares its independence day... I'm so proud to be an Indonesian even thousands of Indonesian people itself often give negative response about their own country, whether about its messy traffic jam, the most complicated administration, etc... But deep in my heart I'm proud to be an Indonesian and I love Indonesia with all my heart with all it goods and bad... People who give negative response about Indonesia is a totally moron because it's not the country that makes it complicated, but it's the people who makes it bad.

Indonesia is the richest country with its culture, nature, and the source of any knowledge. Unfortunately, we the Indonesian people often forgets about these beautiful country we have and blind our mind to stuck with all sicking politic issue. Why should we keep arguing about the endless issues than to explore and do something good about our country? Why we keep protest and give a negative comments of what people done without realizing what we have done to this country?

Everybody knows talking is much easier that doing. That's why most of the people prefer to talk, to protest, to give stupid comments than try to do something for their country. For Indonesia... News station has becoming the center of headache for me. I don't even ever watch or read the news again. I hate news because the useful news is very few compared than the trash that only will pits us up! I'm tired being mad, I'm tired being angry, I miss the peace and tenderness that all exist in this pretty country named Indonesia... I miss all that stuff and I believe many of other Indonesian people out there also feel the same... Why don't we the youth, the younger, the eldest who commit ourselves love our country do the right thing for Indonesia... For our innocent children. Please stop fighting, stop doing unnecessary politic war. Stop being a selfish! Stop thinking of self profit. Think about our future, think about Indonesia..

Where is out togetherness? Do you remember what our granny told us about how we get our independence? We fight for it! Not a personally fight, but all Indonesian people have one mission to fight for our independence. We can reach our independence day because of our togetherness. Togetherness that slowly fades... Can we make it exist again? Can we maintain our togetherness again? Yes we can! Yes we can if only we want to... It needs great team work to get the togetherness... Team work that sounds so easy but very hard to be done with selfishness... Therefore, we need to wiped away all the selfishness first in order to reach the point of great team work to make Indonesia's dream come true of the togetherness...

Today, the August 17, 2010... It's been 65 years of Indonesia's independence day... Lets make our country better... Lets start the new day with a new vision for Indonesia, not for our own selfishness... For Indonesia... MERDEKA!!!
