Flu Can Cause Death for Kitten

I'm not a vet but it based on my own experience that cat flu can cause death for cat, especially Kitten. Don't under estimate flu. Most of us might be think that flu for cat just same as flu for human that can be easily infected and cured. Logically, when we were infected by flu, we'll lose our taste of food. But as human, we can force ourselves to eat coz we know that if we want to get well then we must eat well and take total bed rest beside that flu medicine.

The same condition is also happening with cats (or maybe with other animal), when they got flu then they will lose their taste of food. But unfortunately, they won't force themselves to eat! As the worse the flu, the more they will lost their taste of food. Without food, they will get weaker and weaker and nose stuck to them will find hard to breath and finally.... They will be passed away...

R.I.P - Lupy July 22, 2010

It's been 12 days after Fugy passed away... Lupy health is rather worrying, Lupy got flu. But I already gave Lupy vitamins and decolgen for kids for the flu. Lupy grows a bit. Lupy loves to be hug by me and seems so confy. Lupy prefer to be feed by me than by other cat mother who just has a baby kitten who is willing to take care of Lupy as her baby kitten too. I love Lupy. Lupy always come near me and never stand so far from me.

Yesterday, I left Lupy at home at about 10:00 AM. Lupy still healthy and ate quite much breakfast. Lupy has milk bottle and soft Whiskas for kitten. I went home very late, so mommy got home first. At about 10:30 PM she called me and told me that Lupy has passed away!! I was so shocked and still trauma of loosing Fugy. Now I have to face the truth that Lupy has gone too. I can’t hold my tears from falling, and I’m still wondering why and how it could be???

Cat's Tail

Couple days ago, I had a quite interesting topic with my colleague. The topic was CAT'S TAIL!

I even forgot how could finally we discuss about it. Well, it's good to share to other people since I just realize that still many people out there who don't really know the function of tail for cats and why is it so important.

What I already know is that tail is one of the most important body part for cat. Maybe if you still remember, when you were a kid, your parents or any other older people will say, "don't pull on the tail, the cat will get angry!". What they said is totally right!! Coz tail is very sensitive. It helps cat to balance their body especially when they were walking on the very narrow place. and it also help them control their body when they fell to be landed with their foot first.

R.I.P - Fugy July 9th, 2010

This innocent face, bright blue eyes will never be seen again.... Fugy... Only spent about 3 weeks living in this hard world... Maybe Fugy just too cute to live... Miss Fugy already...

It's too fast! It only took not more than 3 days and Fugy's gone... Fugy can't get more breast feeding from the biological mother coz she got sick and didn't produce milk anymore, so my mom and I feed Fugy and the twin, Lupy, with UHT milk. Suddenly Fugy got cold. Fugy sneezing and seems like told me that Fugy feels so dizzy. But I think I'm not a good cat's language translator so I only can see that Fugy is sneezing but never thought about the dizzy.

Two days ago, I found Fugy slept like a corpse. I thought Fugy has passed away, but when I touched Fugy, Fugy seems so exciting and try the best to get up even it's so hard. But Fugy did it! Then I took them inside and give a special treatment. It's so sad. I thought Fugy won't make it yesterday... But Fugy did it again!

Welcoming Fugy and Lupy

Hi, people! Meet us the new family member of rheys cat! We are the NOT IDENTICAL twins, Fugy and Lupy! Fugy has gray long fur while Lupy has the combination of dark gray and white shorter fur than Fugy.

We were born in the early of June 2010, so this is our 3rd weeks living on earth. Sadly, on our 3rd weeks old, mommy left us and can't breast feeding us anymore because she got serious disease.

We are very sad but also happy that we have Mamah Rhea and Nini Nina who is taking care of us. They milk bottled us every night and day and give us a comfort big hug and keep us warm. Hopefully, we will be able to live happily and healthy till we grow old. Love U all!
