On January 10th, 2010 we held another Family Gathering from my mom’s father side. It’s kinda ‘Paguyuban’ too, and it was held on BPKP Functional Room, Jl. Pramuka – Jakarta.

The gathering begun on 10:00 AM, but as usual it officially begins at 11:30 AM! I had my role as the ‘tilawatil Qur’an’ reader. I think that role started attached with me. Actually, I’m not really comfortable with that role but sometimes you just can’t refuse what against your heart.

Well, it’s a bit similar to our other gathering that we had bunch of delicious foods, drinks, and also bazaar! We could rent a stall that the committee provided for the guest or other people who’s not on the family tree but interested to rent a stall.

There was an interesting moment happened on that day. There was a very loud voice of kitten. Then after I searched around the building, I found a very new-born kitten shaking cold and alone near the street. Then I took it and give him some warmth by covering it with tissue coz I don’t have any towel or other things that can makes it warm better than tissue. Then I took the leftover baby milk from my nephew. The new-born kitten really enjoyed it as if it’s the cat mother’s milk. Then I brought it home to give it a warm place to stay.

The new-born kitten was too young to live alone without a cat mother. So sadly, it just survived for 3 (three) days... I’m so sad... I named it, “BABY RAKA”.... Raka is taken from the word “Pramuka”, the street name where I found it.... May you rest in peace, Baby Raka,.... Hope one day we will meet again...
