Friendster Vs Facebook

As we all know, couple years ago the trends in cyber world online friends networking were booming known as Friendster. Most of the now-a-days high tech people around the world have account on Friendster. Friendster was exciting on its moment. It got its moment only about a year. It become a cyber 'trend setter'.

Couple years ago, another cyber world network has developed and known as Facebook. I've got my first Facebook invitation about 3 years ago from one of my high school mate. Actually, I ignored the request on my inbox about a week or so, coz I thought it's just 'another' Friendster just like the others. I've got invitation to Tagged and Multiply which I finally have those accounts. So I thought Facebook will be just the same.

But one day, I don't even remember the reason why, I started to accept my Facebook invitation. At first I only had 1 friend, and she is the one who invited me to Facebook. Well, as I thought before it's just another Friendster. But then, to make it more 'alive', I invite all my friends from my address book. In a short time I've got plenty friends there, and fortunately, Facebook also make an improvement about the site, it become more and more interesting each time.

About two months or so since the first day I activate my Facebook account, slowly I started to leave my Friendster account, and surprisingly it's not just happened to me! Most of my friends also do the same! Even now, I almost never open my Friendster account again.

Ironically, can you imagine how about the Friendster developer feeling? They ever feel like on the top of the world. Succeed in creating the most happening cyber network. But just in a year, it seems like buried down no where like it never exist. Or the worst is, when people who used to addicted to Friendster now rate Friendster as the far from the word COOL anymore. Have they forgotten if they ever enjoy living with Friendster in the past?
